The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF) has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of its former chairman and the ex-president of LCCI Irfan Qaisar Sheikh.

PIAF Chairman Mian Nauman Kabir, vice chairman Javed Siddiqi, FPCCI former president Mian Anjum Nisar and the executive committee members in their condolence message, said that the demise of Irfan Qaisar Sheikh is a big blow and irreparable loss.

They prayed to Almighty Allah to keep the departed soul in peace and let the family bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.

Mian Nauman Kabir termed his death a big loss for the PIAF and the Pakistani business community. He was a fearless man who did not shy away from expressing his views in front of policymakers, he recalled. He was a nationalist who used to tell people not to discuss personal issues and instead talk about national issues.

FPCCI former president and BMP Chairman Mian Anjum Nisar said he was extremely sad to hear of Irfan Qaisar's death. He was a good friend and very patriotic businessman, who contributed immensely to the development of Pakistan, he added.

PIAF leadership said that the late Irfan Qaisar was a respected businessman and active figure in the trade and industry. He said that former LCCI president played a very important role as TEVTA chairman and several other portfolios. They prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the deceased soul in peace and give the highest place in Jannatul-Firdous.
