Punjab govt showers funds on four PTI lawmakers

The Punjab government has ordered the release of additional funds for four Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers from Lahore including Shafqat Mahmood, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The provincial government has released Rs100 million for Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood’s constituency NA-126. It may be recalled that the provincial government has given Rs650 million to Shafqat Mahmood's constituency in the last two and a half years.
Shafqat Mahmood had received a separate fund from the federal government’s grant for development projects.
Sources claimed that the Punjab government has also recommended providing additional grants of Rs90 million to three female MNAs of the ruling PTI from Lahore.
The sources in Planning and Development Board (P&D) claimed that it has been recommended that a grant of Rs35 million each be provided to PTI MNA Semi Bukhari and Rukhsana Naveed while Rs35 million additional grant was also recommended for Sobia Kamal.
