Government forwards proposal on NA session to Speaker Asad Qaiser

To thwart the vote of the no-confidence motion, the government Thursday proposed that after three days of debate, voting will be conducted next week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The final decision on the proposal of the National Assembly Secretariat will be taken by Speaker Asad Qaiser.

As per rules, an NA session on requisition has to be convened within 14 days.

As per sources, the period of 14 days will be completed on March 22, National Assembly session will be finalized soon.

Final consideration has been done over the proposals to convene the National Assembly soon instead of delay, the sources told.
