The federal government has announced a 78 per cent increase in wheat support price for 2022-23, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

According to sources, the federal cabinet increased the support price to Rs3900 per 40kg from Rs2,200 per 40kg 

The cabinet that met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair took up Hajj policy measures and climate change issues.

The Ministry of Climate Change presented the new policy and told the cabinet that in the previous years, air pollution had risen to dangerous levels in many big cities.
