Two dacoits were allegedly killed by the firing of their accomplices in Harbans Pura area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

As per details, the CIA Civil Lines police were taking two dacoits with them for the identification of their accomplices. But their accomplices ambushed the police party and opened fire on them in order to free the arrested felons. 

Police also retaliated and exchanged fire with the attacking dacoits. As a result, the two dacoits who were in their custody were allegedly hit by the bullets of their accomplices and died. 

The CIA police said they were hunting down the fleeing dacoits. They said that the slain bandits had criminal record.
