Bomb blast in Peshawar, 2 killed, one injured, PM condemns terror attack

A bomb blast in the Board Bazar of Peshwar claimed two lives on Sunday morning.
According to the 24News HD TV channel the bomb was allegedly fixed in a motorcycle near Board Bazar, Peshawar.
The channel reported that as a result of the explosion, two people were killed on the spot while a man was injured.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted dead bodies and an injured person to Khbyer Teaching Hosptial.
Peshawar police also reached the spot and cordon of the area for investigation.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi stated that it was a suicide bomb blast and law enforcement agencies have started their work to dig out the details.
The suspect was on a motorcycle at the time of the incident and he is one of the killed people in the blast.
The SSP operations said the police teams are collecting evidence from the scene and it would be premature to say anything about the blast.
SSP Kashif said the motorcycle used in the blast has been seized but has been completely destroyed after the explosion.
According to the SSP operations, four to five kilo explosives were used in the blast. He said the explosion occurred during the shifting of the explosive on the bike.
PM condemns terror attack:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Peshwar and said that he is determined to eradicate terrorism from its roots.
It is worth mentioning that Board Bazar is a busy shopping mall in Peshawar that usually experiences a lot of traffic but when the blast was occured, the traffic was moving slowly.
