Gandapur demands constitution of judicial commission to probe election rigging

 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur has demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan to form a judicial commission to investigate alleged rigging in February 8 general elections, reported 24NewsHD channel on Sunday.

Addressing a protest rally at Peshawar, CM Gandapur demanding CJP Qazi Faez Isa to form judicial commission on Cipher too  earliest to expose the all conspirators related to the Cipher.

Referring to alleged rigging in February 8 general elections, Ali Amin Gandapur said that the PTI won the polls as per the Form 45s while demanding a judicial inquiry into “result tempering”.

He also lamented the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision of not allocating reserved seats to Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), saying that distributing claimed seats for minorities and women among other political parties was illegal and unconstitutional.

“Action should be taken against those who violate the constitution on specific seats.”

He recalled that PTI ended government in Punjab and Pakhtunkhwa but elections were not held. “We dissolve governments but ECP violated the constitutions.”

 The chief minister alleged that a conspiracy was hatched to oust PTI-led federal government in 2022.

 The CM vowed that their protest will continue till the release of party founder Imran Khan.
