LESCO promises uninterrupted power supply during Sehar and Iftar

Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) revealed plan for uninterrupted supply of electricity during Sehar and Iftar during holy month of Ramzan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

On the instructions of the Ministry of Power Division, LESCO has constituted special teams consisting of BS9 to BS18 officers and officials to ensure uninterrupted supply of power to the consumers during Sehar and Iftaar time.

LESCO Chief Shahid Haider assured public that ininterrupted power supply will be provided to them in all regions during Ramzan. He added that a control room has also been set up at the LESCO headquarters for monitoring of the entire supply system.

All the officers including the LESCO chief will be available in the control room to monitor the situation.

LESCO chief Shahid Haider further said that a separate team of Grid System Operation Circle will ensure provision of additional trolley transformers in all subdivisions while burnt transformer to be replaced within three hours.
