PTI backed independent Member National Assembly (MNA) from NA 62 Gujarat constituency has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to Election Commission of Pakistan’s notification, during the general election held on February 8, Chaudhry Ilyas Gujjar won NA 62 seat as an independent candidate with the support of PTI. Now Chaudhry Ilyas Gujjar has joined PML-Q.

ECP issued the notification of Ch Ilyas Gujjar’s joining the PML-Q. Chaudhry Ilyas defeated PML-Q candidate Chaudhry Abid Raza in NA-62.

According to ECP report, PML-Q has now obtained 4 seats in National Assembly comprising Ch Hussain Elahi NA 63, Ch Salik Hussain NA 64, Ch Ilyas Gujjar NA 62 and Tariq Bashir Cheema from NA 165 Bahawalpur.
