Huma Qureshi to dazzle in Rajkummar Rao's 'Maalik' with dance number
Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is all set to rock the stage with her dance performance in Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming gangster thriller, 'Maalik'.
The news left the fans excited, and they are now eagerly awaiting the film’s release, scheduled on June 20 this year.
According to an Indian media report, “In the sequence, Rajkummar’s character and his gang get a tip-off that the man they are looking for is at a local bar. They head to the bar for an in-and-out job. That’s where Huma is seen performing.”
Further, the source added, “The choreographer has designed it as a raw and earthy dance number, along the lines of ‘Chikni Chameli’ from Agneepath [2012]. Maalik’s story is based in Allahabad and Lucknow. For the song, the set of a bar, as per those found in Lucknow, was built.”
Tips Films shared the poster on their official Instagram page with the caption, "Poore pradesh aur desh pe RAJ karne aa rahe hain MAALIK! rajkummar_rao in and as Maalik In Cinemas on 20th June, 2025 (sic)." Manushi Chhillar is likely to be a part of this film.

As per details, Huma wrapped up shooting in last November for her cameo in Maalik.
The film was directed by Pulkit and produced by Kumar Taurani under Tips Films and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films.
On the work front, Huma Qureshi is busy with the fourth season of 'Maharani'.
The teaser of 'Maharani' was released by the makers a week ago while the caption reads, “From an uneducated homemaker to the Chief Minister who dares to shake the system, battling power struggles, betrayals, and political warfare reaching new heights, this season promises to be the most gripping yet."
The actress also shared it on her Instagram handle with the caption, "Ho jaiye taiyaar
