Digital system introduced to monitor petroleum products stocks in Islamabad

The district administration of Islamabad has introduced a digital system for real time monitoring of stocks of petroleum products at 145 petrol pumps in the federal capital, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In this connection, the option of fuel pump transactions has been added to the City Islamabad App.
Now petrol pumps’ owners will have to upload details of stocks on a daily basis.
The district administration has said that in case, the owner fails to upload details, action will be taken against him.
On the other hand, DC Islamabad Irfan Memon has said that the purpose of the step is to ensure real time monitoring of petroleum products stocks, which will help deal with their shortage.
