Little girl strangled by 13-year-old cousin over ‘a bad joke’ in Faisalabad

Police recovered the dead body of a 4-year-old girl who was murdered by her 13-year old cousin over a bad joke in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday 

According to details, Anaya, the daughter of Danish, mysteriously disappeared from outside her house while playing.

Family members and residents of the area started a search operation to recover the girl, but all in vain.

Later on suspicion, Ghulam Mohammadabad Police included Ehsan, the cousin of the victim, in the interrogation.

During the investigation, Ehsan confessed that he killed Anaya by strangling her. After the confession, the police recovered the dead body of Anaya from the nearby fields near Link Road, on the information provided by the accused.

Police said that the accused killed Anaya after getting annoyed over a bad joke.

Police shifted the dead body of the girl to the hospital mortuary unit and started an investigation.
