Gold prices have soared to a record high, as 24-carat breaking all previous records reached an all-time high at Rs133,500 per tola beating all previous records, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The gold demand rises at times when stocks have slumped.

The 22-carat gold per tola reached Rs122,375 while 21-carat gold price per tola reached Rs116,812.

On the other hand, 10-gram silver with an increase of Rs25 reached Rs1525.

Gold has always been a safe haven and insurance against risks and the risk of continued high inflation looks positive for gold investors in the market.
