Rain, windstorm predicted in Punjab, Kashmir and GB during next 24 hours
Rain and windstorm is predicted during the next 24-hours in Islamabad and its surrounding areas, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, however, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
In Punjab weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of the province. However, Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Khushab, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, D.G. Khan, Multan and surrounding areas are expected to remain partly cloudy with rain at a few places along with strong winds.
However, partly cloudy weather is expected in Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, with rain and thundershowers at a few places.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of the province. However, in Chitral, Shangla, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Bajaur, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Khyber, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Kohat, Hangu, Waziristan and Kurram, it is expected to remain partly cloudy with rain with strong winds and thundershowers at a few places. During this time, moderate to heavy rain/hail is also expected at a few places.
In Balochistan weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of the province. However, in the afternoon, it will be partly cloudy in Barkhan, Kohlu, Zhob, Musakhel, Khuzdar and surrounding areas, and rain with strong winds and thunderstorms may occur at a few places. In Sindh weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of the province.
