‘Terror symbol’ Indian govt officer killed in Pakistani shelling in Occupied Kashmir

A senior Indian official who has become a symbol of terror for Muslims of Occupied Kashmir was killed in a successful operation by Pakistan armed forces in Rajouri town of Held Kashmir on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting security sources.

Additional District Development Commissioner Raj Kumar Thappa was a facilitator of terrorists and enjoyed backing of the Indian government.

Raj Kumar used to attend high-level Indian military briefings. He was killed during Operation Bunyan un Marsoos launched by the Pakistani forces on Saturday.

According to BBC, Additional Deputy Commissioner Raj Kumar Thappa died due to shelling from Pakistan, Occupied Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced. "Devastating news from Rajouri. We have lost a dedicated officer of the Jammu and Kashmir Administration Services," Abdullah said in a post on X.

"Today, the residence of the officer was hit by Pakistani shelling as they targeted Rajouri town killing our Additional District Development Commissioner Shri Raj Kumar Thappa. I’ve no words to express my shock and sadness at this terrible loss of life."
