31 injured as fire breaks out in customs warehouse near Quetta

At least 31 people were injured when a fire broke out at a customs warehouse near Lakpass on the Quetta–Mastung highway, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday. 

According to fire brigade staff, the incident occurred around 11 am at a warehouse located in the Lakpass area, and efforts to control the blaze continued until evening without full containment.

Officials said an LPG tanker parked inside the warehouse was caught in the fire and exploded, causing nearby individuals to suffer burn injuries.

The injured were shifted to the burn unit of the Civil Hospital Quetta.

Authorities confirmed that among the 31 injured, at least seven are in critical condition.
