CM Maryam dedicates Mother's Day to mothers who send sons to frontlines

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz dedicated Mother's Day to the determined and courageous mothers who send their sons to the front lines, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

In her message on International Mother's Day, Maryam Nawaz said, 'Salute to the great mother of every martyr and every Ghazi.'

'Salute to the greatness of mothers with their endless compassion and kindness,' Maryam Nawaz said.

Maryam Nawaz said, 'Salute to every mother who works hard for her children.'

Salute to the greatness of every selfless mother who feeds her children while going hungry herself, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said a mother is like cool shade in the scorching sun of life.

Allah Almighty has elevated the status of a mother by likening His love to that of a mother, Maryam Nawaz said.

'A mother is the name of true passion and relationship, and mothers are the cornerstone of the family and the pillar of society,' Maryam Nawaz said.

She said Mother's Day is a day to acknowledge the extraordinary love and sacrifices of mothers.

On Mother's Day and every day, I miss my great mother, and I can never forget the love and compassion of my mother, Ms Kulsoom Nawaz," Maryam Nawaz said.

She said I am in this position today thanks to the prayers of my mother.

Those who make the service of their mother a motto become leaders in this world and the hereafter, she added.

'I pray for the health and well-being of every mother,' Maryam Nawaz prayed.

Meanwhile, in a message, Chairperson Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Sara Ahmed paid tribute to mothers on Mother’s Day.

Sara Ahmad said the steps taken by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the welfare of mothers and children are commendable.

Mothers are the first teachers of children and the foundation of a secure future, Sara Ahmed said.

She said under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, historic steps are being taken to protect the rights of children.

The Punjab government is continuing to take practical steps for the protection and welfare of children, Sara Ahmed said.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the children of the Child Protection Bureau presented special messages and prayers for Chairperson Sara Ahmed.

Sara Ahmad said the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau is providing motherly love, protection and education to helpless and deprived children.
