Fire breaks out at towel factory in New Karachi Industrial Area

A fire broke out at a towel factory in the New Karachi Industrial Area on Sunday morning, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, as soon as the information about the fire was received, three fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the site to control the blaze.

Fire brigade officials confirmed the incident and said they received the information a short while ago, after which firefighting teams were sent to the location without delay.

Rescue and fire control operations are currently under way to bring the situation under control and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby industrial units.

Authorities said further details regarding the cause of the fire and extent of damage will be shared after the initial assessment.
