Mawra Hocane backs Sania Mirza’s views on 'networking'
Retired Indian professional tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane highlighted their views on the concept of “networking,” leading to a debate on career growth.
The discussion began after Sania Mirza shared a Instagram Story questioning the modern meaning of networking.
She suggested that the term is often reduced to “social climbing” rather than genuine connection.

In her post, Sania expressed skepticism about the way networking is perceived in professional spaces.
Shortly after, Mawra Hocane reshared the post and publicly agreed with the movement.
She described constant advice to “network” as misleading and emphasized that success ultimately comes from faith, hard work and individual effort rather than relying on influential connections.
Mawra further advised young aspirants to remain authentic in their journeys and not compromise their values or tolerate disrespect in the name of networking.
She highlighted that while people may offer opportunities, they cannot truly shape someone else’s destiny or career path.
In the end of her message, the Sabaat actress reminded followers that sustenance and opportunities come from Allah, encouraging them to trust their own journey.
