Celebrated actress Yumna Zaidi turned emotional as she reflected on her remarkable 14-year journey in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, sharing a heartfelt note reflecting on gratitude, resilience, and love for her fans.

Taking to Instagram, Yumna Zaidi posted a touching story looking back at the highs and lows of her career while thanking supporters who stood by her throughout the years.
In her heartfelt message, she wrote:
“14 years of hardwork, luck, love, destiny, patience, letting go, tears, laughters, prayers, failures, wins, strength and blessings. Thank you everyone for the unconditional love and support, absolute encouragement, and even more than that, loving and hyping up my simple form of acting. Lots of love.”

The emotional note instantly resonated with admirers, who flooded social media with congratulatory messages and praise for the actress’ dedication and exceptional talent.

It is worthy to mention that Yumna starts her acting debut in 2012 domestic drama ‘Thakan’ and followed it with a leading role in the melodrama ‘Khushi Ek Roag’.
Zaidi received praise for portraying emotionally intense characters in the dramas, Geo TV's Meri Dulari (2013) and Hum TV's Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi (2013).
Her acclaimed role of a troubled wife in the tragic romance Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2013), established her as a leading actress of Pakistan and earned her nominations for the Hum Award for Best Actress and Best Actress Popular.
In 2015, She gained wider recognition for portraying a range of characters in the dramas Mausam, Madawa, Guzaarish, and Jugnoo, Kaanch Ki Guriya, Paras and Aap ki Kaneez.


In 2016 she appeared in Momina Duraid's Zara Yaad Kar where she played the lead character of Uzma Ikhtiar opposite Zahid Ahmed and Sana Javed. She then appeared in Hum TV's Yeh Raha Dil in 2017 opposite Ahmed Ali.
She played a role of a victim of sexual harassment in Bee Gul's directed ‘Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila’ opposite Noman Ijaz and Saman Ansari.
In 2018–19, she appeared in Pukaar, Dil Kiya Kary, Inkaar, Choti Choti Btatain, and Ishq Zahe Naseeb.

Her latest drama appearances in drama serials Pyar Ke Sadqay, Raaz-e-Ulfat, Dil Na Umeed To Nahi, Ishq-e-Laa, Sinf-e-Aahan, Parizaad, Bakhtawar, Tere Bin, Gentleman, Qarz e Jaan and Dekh Zara Pyar Se.
Further, she made her film debut with the titular role of an aspiring cricketer in Umair Nasir Ali's directed Nayab (2024).
