PaK vs Aus semifinal to be shown on world’s largest screen in Lahore Hockey Stadium

The Punjab Sports Department Wednesday decided to show the semifinal match of the World T20 Cup between Pakistan and Australia on a big screen in the largest hockey stadium in the world in Lahore tomorrow (Thursday).

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the department had started preparations to show the match on the biggest screen.

Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti said that the department had sent invitations to the political and social personalities, including star cricketers and showbiz personalities.

He said that the students of different educational institutions would also be invited to see the match at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore.

The director of sports said the work of installing a screen for the match in the stadium had also been started.

Bhatti said there would be separate enclosures for men and women in the stadium to enjoy the match freely.

Provincial Sports Minister Rai Taimur Bhatti and other political figures would also watch the match with the masses in the stadium.

He also said that some refreshments including water were also being arranged for the cricket lovers.
