Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif Sunday announced that his party would observe a ‘Day of Mourning’ today on the demise of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.

According to 24News HD TV channel, the PML-N backed Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in a tweet expressed condolence and said that nation has lost a true benefactor.

Shehbaz Sharif in his announcement to observe a day of mourning today said that PML-N would pay a tribute to Dr AQ Khan as a Mohsin-e-Pakistan for his services to the nation.

The PML-N President announced that his party would hold a special prayer ceremony for the departed soul. 

He also directed the party leaders and workers to hold special functions to pay tribute to Dr AQ Khan across the country.

The PML-N president in a separate tweet directed his party leaders and workers staying in Islamabad to attend the funeral rituals of Dr AQ Khan.
