Imran Khan says audio leaks put question mark on entire security of PM house
Says his secure line at his residence was also bugged when he was PM: In past, Imran Khan never had any issues if agencies were recording his phone calls
Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan tweeted Monday that the audio leaks were a serious breach of national security as they called into question the entire security of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Prime Minister’s House, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“As Prime Minister, my secure line at my residence was also bugged. We intend to go to Court to establish authenticity of the leaks, and then form a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate which intelligence agency is responsible for the bugging and who is leaking out the audios many of which are edited and doctored,” he added.

“This is critical because sensitive security issues are and have been illegally recorded and subsequently hacked, implying confidentiality of Pakistan’s national security has been exposed globally,” he stated.

In past, PTI Chairman Imran Khan never had any issues if the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was recording his phone calls.
In an interview with senior anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan, Imran Khan had said: “Our ISI is an outstanding intelligence agency of the world. Whatever the calls I make, and whatever the calls I receive, everything is in the knowledge of the ISI and the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
He had added: “Even the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) knows what Donald Trump and Joe Biden do because the intelligence agencies are supposed to protect the head of the state.”
He had also stated: “The intelligence agencies of strong countries are supposed to protect their heads of the states. Therefore, they keep all the information.”
