Punjab governor waives off fees of flood-affected students

In order to provide relief to the students of flood-affected areas of the province, Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman on Monday announced waiving off their fees for two semesters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The governor issued instructions to the vice-chancellors of all government universities to exempt these students from the payment of fees for two semesters.  

He said it was the government’s duty to take steps to alleviate the sufferings of the people affected by floods.
