Man ends his life after killing a woman in Islamabad

A young man allegedly shot and killed a woman before taking his own life in a tragic incident in the Model Town Humak, a suburban area of Islamabad, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to police and eyewitness accounts, four colleagues—two men and two women—had gone to a local restaurant to dine together.

During the gathering, an argument reportedly broke out between the group, escalating into a heated exchange.

Amid the confrontation, a man identified as Imran Asghar pulled out a pistol and shot a young woman, identified as Ayeza Shehzad, in the head.

Immediately after shooting Ayeza, Imran allegedly turned the weapon on himself and committed suicide on the spot.

The wounded woman was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to her injuries despite doctors’ efforts to save her life.

Police officials stated that the other two individuals, a man and a woman who had accompanied the victims, fled the scene after the incident.

Law enforcement authorities have since launched a manhunt to locate and question the pair.

Preliminary investigations revealed that all four individuals worked together at a private factory in Islamabad.

Police teams have collected forensic evidence and other materials from the crime scene to determine the exact circumstances that led to the tragic murder-suicide.
