US dollar smashes through Rs168 mark against Pakistani rupee

The US dollar smashes through Rs168 mark against the Pakistan rupee as the greenback gained 36 paisas in its value in the inter-bank trading early Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the forex dealers in Karachi, the US dollar has now marched forward and is currently being traded at Rs168.08 after gaining 36 paisas.
The forex dealers said the dollar hit the Rs167.43 mark in the inter-bank trading on August 28, 2020. Sindh May 2021 the dollar had soared in its value by 10 percent.

The dollar had dropped to Rs152.28 in the inter-bank trading on May 7, 2021. The greenback had gained Rs15.82 during the last four months.
The experts were of the view that an expensive dollar is also providing a platform for other currencies to rise in their values against the Pakistani rupee.
