Pakistani actress of British descent Armeena Khan raised questions about the aid being given to the flood-hit victims as she expressed sorrow on the demise of a flood-affected baby girl in Khairpur

As per reports, a family from Sindh, displaced due to the recent catastrophic flooding in the country, had claimed that their daughter — a toddler — died at a flood relief camp in the Kot Diji area of the Khairpur district due to a lack of basic supplies such as food, water, and mosquito nets. The baby girl sobbed sobbing all night long due to hunger, and later allegedly lost battle against all odds.

She asked, “Where’s all the aid money? Why are people still dying?”

In response to Armeena’s query, a lot of people on social media spoke out against the aid being given to flood victims.

A Twitter user predicted that this will end up in the hands of leaders, just like the donations made in the wake of the earthquake in 2005.

Canadian actress Armeena Rana Khan is one of the most well-known actresses in Pakistan and has been nominated for a Lux Style Award, a Hum Award, and a Nigar Award. Khan became well-known in the Urdu entertainment sector due to the majority of her incredibly successful television series in which she has starred. She was listed among the "50 Sexiest Asian Women" by Eastern Eye in 2016, and the Pakistan Achievement Awards presented her with the Women Empowerment Award the following year.
