Cardi B claims readying children for the outside world
Cardi B shared how she does not hold her children back and lets them explore the "real world" beyond their "backyard."
Talking to Jennifer Hudson on her show, the rapper mom opened up about how she exposes her three children to a life outside of their comfort zone bubble.
Referring to her family members, she said, “They have like a lot of cousins and a lot of my friends. They [are] still outside. They [are] still in the hood and everything. It's like they was just in the Dominican Republic and it's like, 'Yeah. My grandma's going to make you clean and stuff.”
Giving an insight about raising her kids ready for the world, Cardi went on to explain, “I want them to know that it's like. There's another world out there that's not your world. It's not always about backyard and foxes and deers. There's rats and mice.”
Despite giving them all the luxuries in life that might end up spoiling a child, Cardi is trying her best to raise them as well-rounded individuals.
“My kids, they really enjoy going to like, I guess, the hood,” B said. “They love going to their cousin's house. They love going to my dad's house and stuff like that. They're very well-rounded, [and] I love that.”
Cardi is mom to three children, Wave Set, Blossom Belle, and Kulture Kiari that she shares with ex husband Offset.
