Goods train derails in Jamshoro

A freight train derailed near Kotri Station in Jamshoro on Wednesday, reported the 24NewsHD channel.
The mishap occurred when the train was on its way to Karachi from Lahore.
According to Pakistan Railways officials, locomotive and two wagons of the cargo train slipped off the tracks near the Down Yard area around a residential locality. However, no loss of life was reported.
The train engine was shifted from one track to another.
Railway authorities said that the main railway track reopened for traffic.
Authorities have launched an investigation.
