Senior officials reshuffled in federal bureaucracy

A number of high-level transfers and postings were made in the federal bureaucracy on Wednesday.

According to a notification issued by the Islamabad Police, DIG Security Syed Ali Raza has been made CPO. He is leaving for a UN mission. DIG Muhammad Atiq Tahir has been given the charge of DIG Security. Muhammad Atiq Tahir will have the additional charge of Law and Order as DIG.

A formal notification in this regard has been issued by the Islamabad Police inspector general.

In a related development, Establishment Division Secretary Inamullah Khan Dharejo has been transferred and appointed Secretary to the President. Nabil Ahmed Awan has been appointed Establishment Division Secretary.

Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 22 Nabil Ahmed Awan was posted in the Punjab government.

The federal government has appointed Major General Abu Bakr Shahbaz Additional Secretary, Defence Production Division. Major General Abu Bakr Shahbaz has been appointed on deputation/secondment basis for a period of 3 years.

The appointment is effective immediately and is effective until further notice. The Establishment Division has officially notifications the aforementioned transfers and postings.
