Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the government has done its best to ensure fair election for Daska NA-75, a handout said on Saturday. 

The candidates have been provided with a level playing field, she told the media persons in Sialkot. Firdous said the government has ensured following the code of conduct of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

However, she took a swipe at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, saying the opposition party has never accepted its defeat. She said the PML-N has never accepted its defeat and used the money to manipulate the election.
