Shehbaz Sharif says will resign as PM if proves foreign conspiracy
Calls Parliamentary Security Committee s in-camera meeting on threat letter; Announces 10 increase in salaries

Newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said called an in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Security Committee over the matter of a ‘Threatening Letter’, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Monday.
Delivering his first speech in the National Assembly, Shehbaz said heads of the Pak forces, ISI Director General, Foreign Secretary, Pakistani ambassador to the US who has been transferred after sending this letter by the previous government should be called in the in-camera meeting.
Shehbaz announced that he will resign from the premiership if any foreign conspiracy will be proven because he had made a meeting with Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto before receiving the letter in early March for tabling the no-confidence motion against former PM Imran Khan.
He clarified that he did not see the threatening letter that was waved by the Deputy Speaker in the House. He said all the nation and the parliament members to know about the fact of the threat letter to end the debate on this issue.
The newly-elected PM said, as an opposition leader in the National Assembly, he had given an offer of a ‘Financial Accord’ but refused by the previous government and now Pakistan is facing a historic trade deficit.
Anyhow, Shehbaz said following the change of government as a good sign, today the Pakistani rupee has devalued US dollar by five rupees. He also saluted the members for burying Nazria-e-Zaroorat forever by ousting the Imran Niazi government.
He praised former premier Nawaz Sharif for his services to the nation and appealed business community to raise the salaries of their staff members at least 10 percent.
Shehbaz himself labelled Khadam-e-Pakistan and said that from today he is going to start the new era of development.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the PTI-led government took record loans, but there was no development. He said that for the progression of democracy, and economy, then dialogue should be preferred than deadlock.
The new elected PM said that “We have to become the protector of the country by respecting the masses”.
Shehbaz Sharif announced the minimum monthly wage by Rs25,000, adding that it will applicable by April 2022. Shehbaz announced that on the monthly income of Rs100,000, 10 per cent will be increased.
He also promised to bring flour with cheap price in Ramadan package by working together with the rest of provinces.
Shehbaz said that his cabinet will bring back the Benazir Health Card Scheme, adding that the youth will be given laptop and education. Shehbaz said that inflation is at its peak, adding that six million people are unemployed. Shehbaz said that 20 million people are below the poverty line.
Shehbaz said that the previous government tried to weaken the Pak-China friendship, adding that the Pak-China friendship is everlasting. Shehbaz said that relations with the United States must be established on an equal footing, adding that he wants to build good relations with Saudi Arabia, European Union and India. He offered Indian Prime Minister Modi peace negotiation and pressed for implementation of the United Nations’ resolution on Kashmir. He announced continuing moral support for the people of Indian Held Kashmir.
