NDMA issues rain alert from April 12-17 in Punjab, KP, upper regions

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued rain alert from April 12 to April 17 in Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Paktunkhawa, Azad Jammu and Kasmir and Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The snowfall at mountains, windstorms and hailstorms were also expected during the time. However, hot weather will continue in Sindh and Balochistan. 

Intermittent rain is likely to continue in Islamabad and other cities of Punjab including Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Sialkot, Lahore, Mianwali and Mandi Bahauddin from April 13 to 17. Thunderstorm and wind are also likely in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Thunderstorm and wind are likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad and Haripur. 

Rain with gusty winds and hail is also expected in Swabi, Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, Kohat, Karak, Bannu and DI Khan. Rain is also expected in Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Astore, Diamer, Ghazar, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Rawalakot, Haveli and Neelum Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
