The district administration in Tank has imposed Section 144 on Sunday in response to security concerns, aiming to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents.

According to officials, the decision was taken following recommendations from security agencies and in light of potential threats in the region. Authorities said the measure is intended to ensure peace and stability across the district.

Tank Deputy Commissioner Tanveer Khan announced a complete ban on movement along key highways from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on April 12. Traffic will remain suspended up to the jurisdiction of South Waziristan Upper, including routes leading to Kot Fort, Khargi Jandola, Ghardawi, Neeli Kutch and Gomal Zam Dam.

In addition, Jandola Bazaar will remain completely closed during the specified hours.

The administration has urged residents to cooperate with authorities and avoid unnecessary travel to help ensure public safety during the enforcement period.
