Mobile phones to go off on Ashura days in Islamabad

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has recommended shutting down the mobile phone signals on the Ashura days (ninth and tenth of Muharram), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The ICT administration has sent the request to the Interior Ministry. The Islamabad administration took the decision keeping in view the processions on the ninth of Muharram.
As per sources, after approval from the interior ministry, the mobile signals will be shut down in the federal capital.
