A huddle of parliamentary leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement under the chair of its convener Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be held in Islamabad later today (Wednesday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) is hosting the PDM meeting. The meeting will discuss the overall political and internal situation of the country, besides deliberating on the economic issues. The PDM will also chalk out its future strategy during the session. 

The huddle will be attended by PML-N President and Opposition leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and other central leaders of the party. Shehbaz will hold meetings with important political leaders. 

PML-N supremo and ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif held a consultation with PML-N President Shehbaz and other party leaders through a video link. He suggested making the PDM more effective.

Sources informed that Nawaz Sharif will also address the PDM meeting through video link today.

The leaders of PkMAP, Awami National Party, Balochistan National Party and Aftab Sher Pao will participate in the PDM huddle. Besides them, the opposition leaders including Maulana Ghafoor Haideri, Maulana Sajid Mir and Maulana Awais Noorani and others will also attend the meeting.
