August 11, 2022 11:17 PM

A medical report has found that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehbaz Gill was not tortured in police custody, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

According to sources, Gill underwent a medical examination at the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after his party leaders alleged that the detainee was tortured in custody.

A three-member medical board conducted the examination, the insider said, adding that the report was submitted to the police. The medical panel pointed out that Gill was not tortured in police custody.

CCTV footage exposed the PTI leaders’ claims of manhandling Gill during their arrest yesterday. The video exposed PTI leaders’ lies. The raiding team just smashed the window as Gill resisted the arrest a couple of days ago.

He is in custody on charges of sedition and inciting the public against state institutions.
