An Islamabad High Court (IHC) judge Friday excused himself from hearing a plea against the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehryar Afridi under 3-MPO (Maintenance of Public Order), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir excused himself from hearing the case and sent the case file to the IHC chief justice to mark the case to another bench.

It is to be noted here that Shehryar Afridi was arrested under 3-MPO on the order of the Islamabad deputy commissioner. He is currently in Adiala Jail, Islamabad.
