Despite early morning rain, a marathon was successfully held in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

According to the channel report, the marathon started from Liberty and reached Qurtaba Chowk before concluding at Liberty Chowk.

Provincial Sports Minister Faisal Khokhar and US Consul General inaugurated the marathon. 12 km and 3 km races were organized in the marathon.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from various runners, including US Consul General Kristin K Hawkins, who joined the marathon, adding a diplomatic presence to the occasion.
