Dananeer Mobeen shows off first crochet creation
Dananeer Mobeen has just hit a wholesome milestone as she unveiled her very first crochet creation.
Taking to Instagram, the Pawri Ho Rahi Hai star proudly revealed her handmade granny square, a classic crochet pattern beloved by craft enthusiasts.
“I learnt how to make a granny square,” she captioned her Instagram story, alongside a picture of the colourful piece.
After proving her mettle in television dramas, Dananeer is now set to make her film debut. The movie is being directed by Abu Aleeha, known for projects like Kukri, Super Punjabi, and Taxali Gate.
Last month, the filmmaker shared a cheerful group photo marking the completion of Behnaz, featuring Ayesha Omer, Dananeer Mobeen, and the rest of the team smiling proudly.
According to local media reports, Behnaz is a sports-based film set in Lyari — a Karachi neighbourhood renowned for its football talent and vibrant culture.
The joy on the cast and crew’s faces reflects the hard work and passion poured into the project.
Captioning the photo, Abu Aleeha wrote: “The camera has closed on Behnaz, one of my most layered films. If you enjoyed Taxali Gate even a little, this movie will blow you away.
“If you’re Baloch and from Lyari, this film will fill you with pride. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this film possible. I’m deeply grateful for your support.”
