Salman Khan faces fresh death threat from Lawrence Bishnoi gang

Salman Khan has received yet another death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, a day after gunfire erupted outside comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada, local media reports.

In an audio clip obtained by India Today, a man identifying himself as Harry Boxer claimed responsibility for the shooting at Sharma’s newly opened Kap’s Café in Surrey, British Columbia, and warned, ‘any producer, director or actor who works with Salman Khan will be shot’.

Boxer alleged that the gang would go to any length to target not only Khan but also small-time producers, directors, and actors associated with him.

The chilling threat comes after Khan appeared in the premiere episode of Sharma’s Netflix show on June 21.

The Bishnoi gang has repeatedly targeted Khan since his 1998 blackbuck hunting case, citing the Bishnoi community’s reverence for the animal.

The actor has been under heightened security since April 2024, when shots were fired outside his Mumbai residence. Two gang members were arrested in that case.

According to NDTV, Boxer is a Rajasthan native with multiple criminal cases against him who illegally migrated to the US in 2014.

He is believed to coordinate parts of the Bishnoi gang’s US operations and maintain ties with Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi.
