DVM train carrying defective coaches derails near Ghotki

A coach of a DVM train derailed near Mirpur Mathelo, Ghotki, on Tuesday when it was travelling from Karachi to Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV.

According to railway officials, the train was carrying defective bogies to Lahore for repairs.

The derailment affected rail traffic on the up track.

Railway authorities have called a relief train from Rohri to restore the track.

Officials said the up track would be restored after completion of the relief operation. No casualties were reported in the incident.
