Is Javeria Saud takes indirect dig at Hira Mani? Fans think so
Pakistani actress Javeria Saud has sparked a fresh social media debate after speaking against the growing obsession with filters, celebrity inspired appearances and unrealistic beauty standards with some fans convinced that her remarks were aimed at fellow actress Hira Mani.
During her latest television appearance, Javeria discussed how people increasingly want to replicate the looks of Bollywood stars, questioning why individuals are not content with their own natural features.
“Some want to look like Kajol, some say they want to look like Kareena. Obviously, many people here are inspired by the film industry of our neighbouring country. Some want to look like Katrina, while others want to become Deepika. Why aren't you happy with Allah's creation?” she said.
Javeria further revealed that even her children have noticed her use of beauty filters and have questioned her about it. “My children get upset with me and ask why I use filters. They even delete those apps,” she shared.
Although Javeria did not name anyone, her comments quickly caught the attention of social media users, who began speculating that the actress was indirectly referring to Hira Mani, who has previously faced online discussions surrounding her appearance and use of filters.

One user commented, “No, Hira Mani is being targeted here.”
Another wrote, “I think she is hinting towards Hira Mani.”

“She's talking about Hira Mani, hahah,” another user remarked.

The speculation has turned Javeria’s otherwise general commentary on beauty standards into a topic of discussion among entertainment followers, with some users attempting to decode whom she was referring to.

Meanwhile, several social media users agreed with Javeria’s broader message, praising her for encouraging people to embrace their natural appearance instead of constantly comparing themselves with celebrities.
However, others shifted the conversation towards Javeria herself, with some critics pointing out her daughter’s coloured hair while discussing the actress’s stance on beauty and appearance.
