Woman attempts suicide by shooting herself in Islamabad

A woman allegedly attempted suicide by shooting herself following a domestic dispute in the limits of Noon Police Station in Islamabad on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police sources, the incident took place in Usman Town, within the Jangi Syedan area. The injured woman was identified as Lubna Bibi.
Police said the woman, reportedly distressed over domestic circumstances, shot herself with a pistol. The bullet struck the right side of her abdomen, leaving her seriously injured.
She was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Police have launched an investigation and are looking into the incident from all angles.
