ECP fails to decide about reserved seats and KP Senate election cases

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) which met under the chair of Chief Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja failed to decide about reserved seats and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senate election case even on second day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. ECP members, Secretary Election Commission and legal team participated in the meeting. The legal team briefed the participants about the court rulings on the cases. 

The commission agreed to hold meeting tomorrow to discuss the issue. The Election Commission also sought final suggestions from the legal team. The legal team will give a briefing tomorrow on the Supreme Court verdict on reserved seats and the new Election Amendment Act. The legal team will also convey its recommendations to the commission.
