Taylor Swift stuns in $1,695 luxe velvet minidress for Stephen Colbert's The Late Night Show

American singer and superstar has been in nonstop promo mode ahead of her upcoming Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era. Her latest stop was The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she turned heads in a dramatic $1,695 burgundy velvet minidress by David Koma.

The “Ophelia” singer completed the off-the-shoulder look with a glittering necklace and matching burgundy velvet pointed-toe heels, creating a festive, high-impact ensemble.

Her on-air outfit sharply contrasted with the sophisticated neutrals she wore earlier while arriving at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Wednesday, Dec. 10. Swift stepped out in Max Mara’s $2,583 Olga coat, a $1,890 Miu Miu plaid skirt and Christian Louboutin’s $2,195 Jane boots, accessorized with $8,500 pear-shaped diamond drop earrings from Etiq.

Swift is gearing up for a major streaming moment: the first two episodes of The End of an Era will premiere on Disney+ on Friday, Dec. 12, debuting alongside her new concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show.

Two new episodes will drop each week. According to a press release, the six-part series explores “the development, impact, and inner-workings that created the phenomenon that was The Eras Tour,” offering an intimate look at Swift’s life as the global, record-shattering tour unfolded.

On Tuesday, Dec. 9, Swift attended a special screening of the docuseries’ opening episodes in New York City, joined by the dancers, backup singers and band members who helped bring the massive tour to life. Later that evening, she was spotted heading into the exclusive members’ club Chez Marguax with Este Haim.

Her Disney+ ventures follow the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped on Oct. 3. Swift marked the occasion with a special AMC theater event, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.

She’s also been carving out time to support her fiancé, Travis Kelce, throughout the NFL season. The couple announced their engagement in August, and Swift was most recently seen cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs as they faced the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 7, accompanied by Lena Dunham and Selena Gomez.
