UK court declares Adil Raja false, clears Brig Rashid of all accusations
London High Court rules Adil Raja’s allegations defamatory and false: Says Raja’s narratives on elections and “regime change” were fabricated: Orders Adil Raja to pay £50,000 in damages and £260,000 in interim costs: Judge issues strict injunction and demands public posting of ruling
The London High Court (LHC) has delivered a significant ruling against YouTuber and commentator Adil Raja, concluding that a series of accusations he levelled against Brigadier Rashid Naseer were entirely false, defamatory, and intended to cause reputational harm.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, in a detailed judgement, the court ruled squarely in favour of Brigadier Naseer, rejecting every allegation made by Raja in June 2022 as baseless and unsupported.
The court ordered Adil Raja to pay £50,000 in damages and a further £260,000 in interim legal costs, directing that the payments must be completed by 22 December 2025.
The judgement also imposed a strict injunction barring Adil Raja from repeating the disputed claims, warning that any violation would trigger contempt proceedings that could result in fines or imprisonment.
In one of its strongest directives, the London High Court instructed Adil Raja to publish a prominently displayed summary of the ruling across all of his online platforms for 28 days.
The court order stressed that narratives circulated by Adil Raja relating to the Punjab elections, alleged meetings, and supposed “regime change” efforts were entirely fabricated and constituted deliberate character assassination.
The London High Court noted that several of the allegations were of a sensitive nature and were therefore prohibited outright. It added that Adil Raja’s accusations had attempted to inflict irreparable damage on Brigadier Naseer but were proven to be wholly unfounded.

Major Adil Raja graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy with a bachelor’s degree in general science, military science, and international relations. He earned his master’s degree from the University of Peshawar.
