Ducky Bhai’s wife Aroob Jatoi granted bail extension in gambling app case
A Lahore court on Wednesday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of YouTuber Ducky Bhai, until March 24 in a case related to the promotion of a gambling app.
The hearing was conducted before Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi.
Aroob Jatoi appeared in court along with her lawyers, Osman and Aftab Advocate.
During the proceedings, the investigating officer from the National Coordination Centre for Cybercrime Investigation and Analysis (NCCIA) requested the court’s permission to have Jatoi’s mobile phone for forensic examination.
The court approved the request, allowing the forensic process to proceed as soon as possible.
Jatoi’s lawyer, however, requested that the report be scheduled after Ramazan, noting that it might take more than one to two weeks to complete.
The court acknowledged the request and set the timeline accordingly.
Judge Qureshi emphasised that the accused must ensure her presence in future hearings. “The accused must appear in court; interim bail attendance exemptions will no longer be granted,” he said.
The case has been registered by the NCCIA, following allegations of promoting a gambling application online.
The extension of bail allows the investigation to continue while ensuring the accused’s temporary release under legal supervision.
