PTI’s Barrister Gohar requests SC to give order on Imran Khan’s health
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Wednesday prayed to the Supreme Court (SC) to give a detailed order about former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s health, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to reporters at the Parliament House, he said it was after 30 months that the apex court had sought a report on Imran’s health and the facilities being provided to him in Adiala Jail. “Enough is enough. Allow the former prime minister’s personal physicians to see him; his family and party leaders should be given access to him, and that his telephonic talk with his sons should be arranged.”
He added that if the apex court gave such a detailed order, there would be no justification for sit-ins and politics of agitation.
PTI chairman said he had not spoken to Salman Safdar on the contents of the report he had submitted to the SC today. “It is only the SC that can disclose its contents,” he said.
