PM Imran Khan to publicize national security policy on Friday

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has decided in principle to publicize national security policy on Friday.
The 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday that the PM will make the most important points of national security policy public.
According to the sources, PM Imran Khan has decided to make public half of the more than 100-page policy. Sources said the PM will unveil only the point of 50-pages that are a part of the non-secret portion of the policy.
The sources said the national security policy consists of three major issues related to the economy, military and human security.
For the first time in Pakistan, a comprehensive policy on national security was formulated and economic security is the central focus of the national security policy
Security policy will be reviewed on an annual basis and any new government will have the power to change the policy.
The government will be required to submit an implementation report to the National Security Committee each month.
Peace, coordination and trade policy with neighbouring countries will be key issues to the region while the Hybrid War Fair will also be part of the National Security Committee.
Kashmir was declared important in Pakistan's security policy and resolving the Kashmir issue is one of the policy priorities.
The growing population has been described as a major challenge to human security as well as migration to cities, health, water and the environment, food and gender discrimination are key elements of human security.
The National Security Division is ready to take the political parties into confidence on the policy
